Upload Short Sale Submissions

The Upload Short Sale Submissions page provides the capability to upload both eligible and exception review short sale requests to Freddie Mac for workout decisioning and/or settlement processing. In addition, the Upload Short Sale Submissions page can be used to request a short sale settlement extension or cancellation.

Each uploaded short sale request receives a validation of key data points and a response (i.e., 'Approved', 'ineligible'). Once successfully uploaded, Resolve's dashboard offers a clear view into the status of each request.

How to Access the Upload Short Sales Submissions Page

Follow the steps below to navigate to Resolve's Upload Short Sale Submissions page:

1. From Resolve's dashboard, select Submissions from the top blue navigation bar. The Submissions menu displays. Select the Short Sales link from the menu.

2. The Upload Short Sale Submissions page displays.

The Upload Short Sale Submissions page can be used to submit different types of short sale workout and settlement requests to Freddie Mac for review and decisioning.

Short Sale Request Type:	Description:
New Short Sale Workout	Submit a new workout request to Freddie Mac for review and decisioning.
Short Sale Workout Exception Review	Submit a workout request that was already decisioned by Freddie Mac as "ineligible for approval" back to Freddie Mac for an exception review.
Short Sale Workout Cancellation	Submit an already approved short sale workout request to Freddie Mac for cancellation.
New Short Sale Settlement	Submit an already approved short sale workout request to Freddie Mac for settlement approval.
Short Sale Settlement Extension	Submit a request to Freddie Mac to extend/change the settlement date (closing date).
Short Sale Settlement Exception Review	Submit a settlement request that was decisioned as Ineligible for Settlement back to Freddie Mac for an exception review.
