Request an Exception Review: Short Sale Workout Requests
There are two methods for uploading an exception review request for short sale workouts originally submitted through Resolve's user interface:
- Resubmit the template for the workout request with the Exception Review Indicator as a 'Y' to submit to Freddie Mac as an exception request. Refer to the Short Sale Template help section for additional guidance on uploading short sale workout requests.
- Request an exception review through the Details page in Resolve. Refer to the process steps below.
Follow the steps below to request an exception review through Resolve's user interface for a request that is in INELIGIBLE FOR APPROVAL status:
1. From the Details page, select the 
button from the top right side of the page. An "Are You Sure?" pop-up window displays. 
2. From the "Are You Sure?" pop-up window, enter comments as applicable and select either the CONFIRM SUBMIT or CANCEL button.

Submit the exception review request to Freddie Mac. The dashboard page displays the request in a SUBMITTED FOR REVIEW status with the Exception Review

Cancel the exception review request and remain on the Details page. |
