When submitting a Trial Period Approval Request, data is submitted, and validated to determine if Freddie Mac's Single-Family Seller/Servicer Guide (Guide) eligibility requirements are met and trial period terms are determined. Refer to Guide Section 9206.10 of the Single-Family Seller/Servicer Guide for information on how Resolve® determines the terms of the Flex Modification Trial Period Plan based on the data submitted by the Servicer.
The Approved for Trial Period status indicates that the loan was submitted through the Resolve® UI or Retention API and meets eligibility requirements and/or approved by a Freddie Mac analyst as an exception.
Once the loan is in an Approved for Trial Period status, the following options are available:
