If the Note has not been certified by the Document Custodian, Freddie Mac does not have physical or constructive possession of the Note. In the event a Note has not been certified, Sellers may contact the Document Custodian directly to request return of the Note, Freddie Mac’s aforementioned 1036 process does not apply.
