If your third party foreclosure sale settlement has been placed in Info Requested status, additional information is needed for Freddie Mac to provide a decision. To provide additional information and/or comments, click the Update Request button on the Sale Details page. You can enter additional information about the third party foreclosure sale via the Comments field then submit to Freddie Mac.
Follow the steps below to provide additional information in Resolve® and respond to Freddie Mac:
1. Use one of the following methods to access the Sale Details page.
2. The Sale Details page displays. Click the ACTIONS: Update Request button in the upper right corner of the page to access the editable Comments field.
3. The Comments field opens as an editable field to allow you to enter additional information related to the foreclosure sale reporting submission.
4. Once you have entered the additional information in the Comments field, click SUBMIT or CANCEL.

Submit the additional data. The 'Are You Sure?' confirmation box displays. Proceed to Step 5. |

Cancel the added comments. Resolve returns you to the Sale Details page and any comments entered won't be saved. |
5. The 'Are You Sure?' Confirmation box displays the message "Are you sure you want to submit Request ID TPO12023? Once submitted, you will not be able to return to the request. If you would like to make updates, select Cancel". Click CONFIRM SUBMIT or CANCEL.

Proceed with submitting your updated information to Freddie Mac. Important: You must ensure that the data you are providing is accurate and complete prior to clicking Confirm Submit. You won't be able to edit your data once you have submitted it. |

Cancel submitted information. Return to the Sale Details page to make any additional updates. Return to Step #2. |
6. When you click CONFIRM SUBMIT, the Sale Details page displays a green banner confirming the request was successfully updated and saved. The status of the sale reporting submission changes from Info Requested to In Review.
7. The Freddie Mac analyst reviews the additional information you provided as part of the review process and returns a decision (e.g., Approved For Settlement).
