Alternate Trial Period Start Date

The Trial Period Start Date is the date the trial period plan goes into effective (i.e., the first calendar day of the first month of the trial period), also referred to as the beginning of the Loan Modification Trial Period.

How to edit the Trial Period Start Date

It may be necessary to edit the Trial Period Start Date when the borrower requests an alternate start date that is different from what Resolve® has calculated. On the Resolve Retention File Template (column AK) provide the alternate start date in the Requested Trial Period Start Date data field when submitting a Draft request (DRAFTReq) or Trial Period Approval (TPAReq) request.

As shown on the Metadata tab, the Requested Trial Period Start Date is a conditionally required data field for Draft and Trial Period Approval requests and is populated with the alternate Trial Period Start Date.
