Approved Status

Flex Modification workout approval requests (WAReq), following a successful Trial Period Plan, that have been decisioned and shows an Approved status.

For UI users:

  1. Submit a Settlement Request (SETReq) when the loan is in an Approved status
  2. Submit a Cancellation of an approved workout request that has not settled

 

For API users:

  1. A submitted API-Exception Review request will reflect an Approved status after the Freddie Mac analyst decisions and approves the request OR
  2. API submission of a Workout Approval request that meets eligibility requirements of the Freddie Mac Single-Family Seller/Servicer Guide (Guide).
  3. The status and other key data can be viewed in the Resolve® dashboard.

If the workout request was submitted as an Exception Review request, you will receive a Notification once a final decision (either Approved or Rejected) has been made on the workout request.

Your response file will indicate that the workout has been decisioned as Approved. You can proceed with submitting a Settlement Request through the Retention API or Resolve UI.

API users have access to the dashboard and Flex Modification Details page to review details including status, comments, history, etc. Any subsequent actions can be done through API or UI submissions (e.g., settlement)

Once the request is in an Approved status, you can perform one of the following:

  1. Submit a Settlement Request(SETReq)
  2. Submit a Cancellation Request (CXLReq) of an Approved workout that has not settled
