Info Requested Status

Overview

The charge-off request will be placed in an Info Requested status when additional information is needed from the Servicer in order for Freddie Mac to decision. The Servicer will receive a bell icon notification  that the charge-off request is in an Info Requested status. 

If the Servicer is an application programming interface (API) user, this step is performed only through the Resolve UI submission path.

Note: If you are an API user and do not have access to the Resolve UI, you must request access to Resolve via Access Manager, a self-service system that allows you to create, manage, and provision administrator and user access to certain Freddie Mac technology tools.

Info Requested Status Workflow

From Submitted for Review status, the request will change to In Review. The request may then move to an Info Requested status if additional information is needed for Freddie Mac to provide a decision. Once you have submitted updated information, the request will move back to In Review. A Freddie Mac analyst will review the updated information you have provided as part of the review process and render a decision (e.g., Approved, Rejected).

How to Access Charge-Off Details

Access the Notifications and Details page to review loan details including status, comments, history, etc. Through the following methods, you can navigate to the charge-off details section to view loan data. Review the data to determine the information to update.

Method 1:

1. Click the bell  icon to open Notifications. Your Resolve notification messages display. 

2. From the Notifications list, click View on the RESOLVE: CHARGOFF INFO REQUESTED notification.

Method 2:

From Resolve's dashboard page, click the Freddie Mac Loan Number hyperlink to open the Details page to view your charge-off request details. The ACTIONS: Update Request    button provides access to the editable fields for you to update.

Using the Actions  Menu

You will only see the ACTIONS: Update Request  button at the top right corner of the Details page when your request is in Info Requested status.

Click the ACTIONS: Update Request   button and the editable data fields open. You can then edit the information in the borrower profile financial fields, loan data fields and the comments section.

Edit data and submit the updates to Freddie Mac. Once the updates have been submitted, the status will change from Info Requested to In Review.  Refer to the Providing Updated Data section for the steps to update loan data.
