ULDD data is a shared dataset between Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. This dataset is granular, standardized and has clear definitions, providing sellers with a common understanding of the meaning of each data point. The result is greater transparency, which helps Sellers gain a better understanding of our assessment of mortgage risk and purchase requirements on loans they sell to us.
Freddie Mac’s Loan Selling Advisor follows the ULDD standards and layout for loan delivery data. When changes to the ULDD requirements and standards occur, they are announced and implemented in phases. The information herein is designed to help you understand what each phase entails, when the changes are effective, which data points are affected and more.
ULDD Specification Appendix A - Freddie Mac XML Data Requirements in PDF is otherwise known as the ULDD Specification and/or Implementation Guide for Loan Delivery Data. Appendix D - Freddie Mac XML Data Requirements in Excel format is otherwise known as the ULDD Specification and/or Implementation Guide for Loan Delivery Data. Appendix G – Archived XML Data Requirements Specifications. We removed the previous ULDD Phase 1, 2 and 3 specifications, from Appendices A and D.
