An investor-specified identifier used to identify a loan feature not defined by other attributes.
Valid Values:
May not exceed 3 characters.

When to Use:
Required for all loans if an Investor Feature Identifier is required by the Freddie Mac Single-Family Seller/Servicer Guide or other purchase documents. Deliver:
J99 for new construction properties with Home Energy Rating System (HERS) Index score less than or equal to 60. Note: Prior to delivery, acquire the HERS score through RESNET and confirm the score is less than or equal to 60.
J98 for new construction properties with solar panels.
K10 for Home Possible with a VLIP Mortgage Credit.
J99 for Green MBS pools sold through the Guarantor program. Refer to Guide Sections 6202.2, 6302.3 and the Guide Glossary.
How to Use:
If the Investor Feature Identifier (IFI) you are required to deliver contains a letter, it must be capitalized.
